What does EDDM cost?
EDDM postage is the USPS retail rate of about $0.213 per piece (saturation rate) — the same for every mailer regardless of size. Add the print: a 6.5x9 or 6x11 full-color EDDM postcard prints from roughly $0.18 each at 500 down to about $0.10 each at 5,000. We handle the bundling, facing slips and drop-off.
Do I need a permit for EDDM?
No mailing permit is needed for EDDM Retail (under 5,000 pieces per ZIP per day). We help you pick carrier routes by neighborhood, demographics or business density on the USPS EDDM tool and prep the paperwork for you.
What postcard sizes work for EDDM?
USPS-approved EDDM Flat sizes include 6.5x9, 6x11, 8.5x11 and 9x12 (any side over 6.125"). We routinely run 6x11 and 6.5x9 on 14pt UV-coated cover — the sweet spot for cost vs. visual impact.
Can you mail to a list of addresses I already have?
Yes — send us your list as a CSV or Excel file. We run CASS certification, NCOA address updates, dedupe, and presort to the lowest USPS class your job qualifies for (First Class, Marketing Mail / Standard, or Nonprofit if eligible).
How fast does EDDM hit mailboxes?
Once we drop your bundles at the local post office, EDDM typically arrives in 3–10 business days. Plan on 5–7 business days for printing and prep before drop. For dated promotions, build in two full weeks.
Can you handle return-address indicia and full mail merge?
Yes — we print indicia, return addresses, custom variable data (name, address, account number, personalized URLs), and tabbing for self-mailers. Bring us the list and the message, we'll do the rest.
